Agricultural producers and exporters of Moldova request the authorities to protect the internal market from mass imports. Such desires were spoken out in the frame of roundtables, organized in the frame of the campaign - Remove Barriers to Exports! Let the national economy to breath freely!" by the Coalition for the Development of Agricultural Economy (CDER).

A press release by IDIS Viitorul Institute for Development and Social Initiatives, which is a member of the CDER, remarked that the legislation concerning the agrarian sector and the external trade must be improved, in order to protect the internal market from mass imports, which strangle local producers.

On the other hand, we need efficient instruments for stimulating and promoting exports. These instruments include crediting of exports, re-consideration of the export VAT compensation mechanism, and removal of non-tariff barriers (in particular, of administrative character). Such are unanimous conclusions by people, who continue working in the agrarian sector in the Republic of Moldova despite all the difficulties they face", the document says.

The organization promises to send Moldovan producers and exporters desires in the form of postal cards to respective state institutions.
